    Hey John Higgins,

    Thanks for your post!

You are correct, the routing number in our app is primarily used for wiring funds and deposits. This can be used for things like direct deposits. Our banking partner has an alternate routing number that can be used for ACH transfers. That number is: 091409869.

If your issue with Plaid is still acting up, feel free to reach out to me at gazelle.help@ramseysolutions.com and I would be happy to help with that.

    Hope that helps!

Hi John!  I had the same problem with Truist, and Josh gave me a workaround, which was to use the routing number 091409869 (which is Metabank) and my account number, and that did it right away.  My direct deposit from work worked fine with the usual routing number/account number combo as well.  One other thing I noticed is that right now I can only use a routing number/account number to set up payments for accounts that I am the primary accountholder on or, as in the case of Truist, is a joint account that I have my own set of login credentials for.  It will not go through on anything where my husband is primary. Hope this helps!

UPDATE ON PART 2: After reaching out to Gazelle support, they were able to provide the proper routing number for transfers. The routing number to use is "091409869". This number is just for transfers, use the routing number in Gazelle for direct deposits.
